Finalists announced for 2017 Victorian Training Awards

The Victorian Minister for Training and Skills, the Hon. Gayle Tierney has announced the finalists for this year’s Victorian Training Awards, which recognise the outstanding achievements of Vocational Education and Training (VET) students, teachers, training providers and businesses that train them. The awards feature 15 categories including six individual categories, with the Koorie Student of the Year Award recognising the achievements of a Aboriginal or Torres Island students who displays a strong understanding and knowledge of the vocational education and training system and exhibits the importance of lifelong learning for themselves and their community.

The 2017 winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 11 October. If you would like to attend the ceremony please book your tickets today by calling 9907 6635.
